Ugh......Wendy is back in NYC in the hospital. She has developed an infection which is being treated with IV antibiotics. Her and I drove down on Saturday and spent too much time in the ER waiting for a room. I came home and Bill went down yesterday. She will see her doctors this morning to get a plan.
The problem comes in with the start of radiation. It is supposed to start next week but if the infection doesn't clear, or comes back, that will be postponed. It is all really complicated but if things don't go well she will need another surgery to remove the expander and infection. Of course we are hoping for the best and ask you all to pray.
